About Me

Ciana Malchione is an illustrator and arts educator based in NYC, originally from a small mushroom-farming town in Pennsylvania. She creates her illustrations with cut paper and colored pencils, and she especially enjoys illustrating nonfiction stories about figures who found exciting and interesting ways to spend their lives.

In her personal life, she serves as the Assistant Director of an arts education nonprofit and is also currently obtaining her Master's degree in Library Science with the goal of becoming a children's librarian. Her dream is to one day illustrate a book that she can share with young library patrons.
